Continuous Development

Lifelong Learning

Once a teacher joins the classroom, their development doesn't stop - it deepens. Muktangan's In‑Service Teacher Education keeps practising teachers growing through structured, weekly professional learning, so every child is taught by an educator who is still learning too.

11 Specialist departments delivering weekly professional development.
Spanning languages, STEM, SEL, and more.

Why Continuous Development Matters

Recruiting good teachers is only the beginning. What keeps a classroom excellent is a teacher who reflects, updates their practice, and keeps mastering both their subject and how children learn it.

That is why professional development at Muktangan is not an occasional workshop - it is a weekly habit, built into the working life of every teacher.

Our Approach

How We Keep Teachers Growing

Our teachers continue to learn the way we ask them to teach: actively, collaboratively, and through reflection.

Job‑embedded & continuous

Development happens every week, tied directly to real classrooms and current lessons.

Department‑led & specialist

Each of our 11 departments deepens both subject knowledge and the pedagogy to teach it well.

Constructivist & child‑centred

The same active, experiential approach children experience is modelled with teachers.

Reflective & supported

Planning, observation, feedback, and mentoring turn everyday practice into steady growth.

Weekly Rhythm

The Weekly Teacher Orientation

At the heart of the programme is a weekly Teacher Orientation. Each week, teachers meet within their department to plan upcoming lessons, strengthen subject and pedagogical understanding, reflect on what is working in their classrooms, and align on Muktangan's child‑centred approach.

A simple, powerful rhythm: learn, apply in class, reflect, and improve - every single week.
