Stories That Inspire

From classrooms to communities - here are a few of the many journeys that began at Muktangan.

Prasad Ramesh Chaware CA Aspirant

"For me, Muktangan was more than a school – it taught me how to live in the world."

Today I am studying First Year B.Com, have cleared the CA Foundation, and am preparing for the CA Intermediate Examination. The supportive teachers, small classrooms, and opportunities to express myself helped me become confident. Being part of the school choir during the Expression Programme and participating in football and kabaddi taught me teamwork, discipline, and leadership. History classes were always memorable because our teachers brought lessons to life through role play, making learning exciting and meaningful.

I am grateful to Muktangan for believing in me, guiding me, and helping me become the person I am today.

"The greatest lesson Muktangan gave me was simple: learning should never stop."

I joined Muktangan in Grade 7, and it completely changed the way I experienced education. The small class size and close teacher-student relationship meant that every question was heard, every doubt was addressed, and every child felt seen. For the first time, I experienced learning in a space where I felt safe, valued, and encouraged.

Today, I work with an educational organisation in Mumbai, where I lead and support a team of 12–15 teachers. Returning to Muktangan as an Alumni Executive was one of the most meaningful chapters of my journey – connecting alumni to learning opportunities, careers, and platforms at organisations such as Taj Hotels, HDFC Bank, and NCPA.

Muktangan taught me that education is not just about academic success – it is about purpose, empathy, confidence, and the belief that learning never ends.

"The greatest gift Muktangan gave me was not just an education – it was the confidence to help others learn."

Every day I step into my classroom, I carry a part of Muktangan with me. Muktangan was never just a school – it was a place that helped me discover my voice, build confidence, and believe in my potential.

One experience that shaped me deeply was the World of Exposure (WOE) programme. It opened my eyes to different career pathways, encouraged me to dream without limits, and gave me the confidence to choose a future in education. Today, I strive to create the same kind of classroom I once experienced – a space where every child feels safe to ask questions, make mistakes, think independently, and enjoy learning.

I remain deeply grateful to my teachers and mentors, especially Anu Ma'am, Liz Ma'am, Sunil Sir, and the entire Muktangan family, for believing in me long before I believed in myself.

"I am a proud alumna of Muktangan School (Batch 2016–17) and have successfully completed my Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)."

My journey has been one of dedication, perseverance, and a deep commitment to the field of healthcare. From my formative years at Muktangan to earning my medical degree, I have always strived for academic excellence while nurturing a passion for serving the community.

With a strong foundation in medical sciences and clinical training, I am now prepared to contribute meaningfully to patient care and the broader healthcare system. I hope my journey inspires fellow Muktangan students, especially those aspiring to pursue careers in medicine and allied health sciences, to believe in their dreams and work towards achieving them.

Muktangan gave me the foundation to dream, grow, and believe in myself. I hope my journey inspires many more students to keep learning and never give up on their aspirations.

Bhuvaneshwar Gupta CA Manager

Bhuvaneshwar Gupta

"Because of Muktangan, I found my path."

Today, Bhuvaneshwar Gupta is a CA Manager in the Internal Audit Department at Godrej & Boyce. He began his professional journey as a Statutory Auditor at Deloitte after clearing his Chartered Accountancy examination in November 2022.

Coming from a family where his father was a taxi driver and his mother was a homemaker, Bhuvaneshwar was a bright student with aspirations for his future. In 2013, while in Class 10, he participated in Muktangan's Mukt Minds initiative, which helped him recognise his strengths and guided him towards commerce and eventually Chartered Accountancy.

When the cost of CA coaching became a barrier, Muktangan stepped in to ensure financial circumstances did not prevent him from pursuing his goal. His teachers – Ashish Sir, Shridhar Sir, and Sumeet Sir – even visited his home, noticed he had little space to study, and helped him find a suitable place to prepare. That kind of support, Bhuvaneshwar says, is what defined his Muktangan experience.

From watching movies on a big screen to participating in projects that built his confidence, his school years were filled with moments that shaped him. His sister, Vandana Gupta, is also a Muktangan alumna.

"Muktangan did not simply help me choose a career. It gave me the guidance and confidence to choose my own path."
